We are excited to announce that our engineering team has developed an update to the FIERCE firmware that triggers a much quicker response time to the heater, allowing the FIERCE to maintain the set temperature throughout the full length of each draw. The FIERCE heater is extremely powerful and more than capable of keeping up with long, deep draws, and with this new firmware it's now prepared to do so!
We are confident that this update will enhance the FIERCE user experience to those who are willing to part with their FIERCE for a few days so that it can be installed. This update is not necessary or required, but we are more than happy to freely offer it to those of you who would prefer it. If you purchased your FIERCE after February 20th, your FIERCE already has the latest firmware available.

The update only takes a minute to install, so we will be able to return your FIERCE to you fully updated one business day after we receive it.

We have come to find that the FIERCE software was not optimized to allow the heater to recover quickly enough to keep up with very long draws. The good news is that we have already rewritten a new version of the software and have it ready to update all of the FIERCE units through the USB-C port. With this update, the FIERCE does not lose temperature and performs exactly the same as our FURY 2. We are going to take a few days to test this software update to ensure that there aren't any further issues. We are updating all of our FIERCE devices in our stock, and offering this free software update to all current FIERCE owners. We will begin updating the software by next Wednesday or Thursday. If you have placed a FIERCE order today, or will be ordering one in the next few days, we will be shipping your FIERCE at that time with the software updated.
This update is not required. However, if you are already an owner, (and we can manage to pry your FIERCE from your hands for a few days) we will be happy to upgrade your software. We want to start by thanking you for trusting us with your FIERCE preorders! We have experienced a slight delay, as this is a new product and there were a couple of minor issues that we did not anticipate. Our production run is taking a little longer than expected because we have taken some extra time to select random units from the production line to put through extreme and severe testing for longevity and durability. This extreme testing process is a final step to ensure that our FIERCE production units do not have any previously undiscovered issues prior to shipping them to our clients. In other words, we want our clients to have the absolute best experience with their FIERCE now and lasting into the extended future. It is very important to us that we get our FIERCE right from the very start!

We have an update on the launch of our new FIERCE. Everything is going smoothly with our test production runs, except for the aesthetic look of the plastic mouthpiece. The mouthpiece mold is leaving marks on the outside of the mouthpiece. We are remaking the mold, and will be performing more test runs this week. We were on a perfect pace to release our FIERCE, and we were confident that we would have no trouble meeting the August 27th deadline. However, this unexpected issue will cause a 2-3 week delay in our official product release date. We hope you all understand that we have very high standards, and would rather provide a perfect product than rush to meet a deadline. In all fairness, we will also extend the discounted preorder prices coinciding with this short delay.
We will announce an exact FIERCE product release/shipping date in a few days, once we have this cosmetic mouthpiece issue resolved. We will be listing all of the FIERCE parts and accessories on our website by the middle of this week. Any orders placed for FIERCE parts and accessories will be packaged together with your FIERCE preorder and shipped on the new product release/shipping date.
We sincerely apologize for this unexpected delay, and we hope that you agree with our philosophy of putting the quality of our products above meeting a deadline.
